Meet the Team
The 2020-2021 leadership team is displayed below.

Max Holden '22, Co-President: Max is from Montclair, NJ and studies Energy Engineering. He is thoroughly impressed with the significant impact the fields of renewable energy and sustainability can have on the daily lives of billions of people. He believes that clean energy will be at the crux of a paradigm shift for human development going forward, and wants to contribute to the field’s future innovations. A fun fact is that he went to high school in three different continents!

Julia Snodgrass '21, Co-President: Hailing from rural Western Massachusetts, Julia has always loved the outdoors and cares deeply about environmental stewardship. At Dartmouth, she studies Environmental Studies and Spanish, is a Senior Admissions Fellow, and enjoys longboarding around Occom Pond. She is interested in energy because it is a rapidly evolving industry with huge implications for climate change, global economies, quality of life, and other defining issues of our time.

Nick Britton '21, Co-President: Nick is from Manchester, New Hampshire and pursuing a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Government. At Dartmouth, Nick conducts research with the Irving Institute on U.S. electricity systems and sings in the Dartmouth Brovertones a cappella group. He is interested in energy issues because the transition to a zero-carbon future is one of the foundational components of a more resilient planet and a more equitable society for generations to come. A fun fact about Nick is that he enjoys playing the bass guitar in his free time!

Xi (Frank) He ’23, Officer: Growing up in urban Beijing, Frank is keen on environmental issues in his hometown. At Dartmouth, he studies Environmental Studies and Engineering. With a passion for sharing his experience at Dartmouth, Frank is currently involved in Asian Admission Ambassador Program and writing for the Undergraduate Admissions Office. He enjoys playing basketball and cooking delicious Chinese food for his friends. He is interested in renewable energy because it has enormous potential for addressing climate change and environmental issues around the world.

Nathaniel (Nate) Roe '23, Officer: Nate is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and hopes to major in Engineering. He feels that energy is an under-discussed cornerstone of a sustainable and equitable future. He cares about this topic because energy, as an idea and professional pursuit, enables him to use and expand upon his passions for math, physics, and the environment as an engineer and work toward a better tomorrow. A fun fact is that he is very proud of his collection of funny thrift shop t-shirts!

Katie Glance ’23, Officer: Originally from Upstate NY, Katie’s interest in environmental innovation stems from her love for the outdoors at an early age. Katie is an Environmental Studies major with an interest in economics. On campus, Katie was the 19F homecoming build chair and is currently involved with the DOC, the Center for Environmental Leadership Training, and Women in Business. In her free time, Katie enjoys kayaking on the Connecticut, hiking the White Mountains, sailing, and trying air sports, like skydiving and hang gliding. She is interested in the energy sector because it is the path to creating a zero-carbon future.
